Brook Lopez suffered a mild sprain on his right foot, which in turn will cause him to miss at least two games. Now, this is where it gets interesting.
Brook Lopez out; Time to pick up Andray Blatche?
With Brook Lopez out for at least two games, is it time to seriously consider Andray Blatche?

With the possibility of Kris Humphries being suspended for a game or two, following the mini brawl between the Nets and Celtics on Wednesday night, there's a chance that Andray Blatche turns into a must-own player for this weekend.
Blatche, as we all know, is a fairly gifted basketball player who can go off at any time, and just as easily disappear on the basketball court. Against the Celtics, however, filling in for Humphries, we saw the gifted Blatche, posting 17 points, 13 rebounds and two steals in 29 minutes. Now, that’s the Blatche who deserves to be owned in all leagues. However, we’ve seen him disappear in spots to where he does play 20-plus minutes and give you 3 and 3, or maybe 6 and 4. That’s the Blatche who deserves to remain on the waiver wires.
The question now remains, though, which Blatche will actually show up on Friday night, and will Humphries -- and to an extent Reggie Evans -- be there to block him?
I think the safe move is to add Blatche where available, if you are in a daily league and have the room on your bench. I wouldn’t drop anyone of value for him, but if you can pick and plug him into your lineup for a game or two -- until Lopez returns -- you might be able to see a nice return on that minimal investment. In weekly leagues, the add probably isn’t worth it at the moment.
His long-term value, also, doesn’t hold up. Not on a healthy Brooklyn team and not until he can show some consistency.
For a weekend, though, he at the very least deserves a look.
