Three San Francisco 49ers have suffered stingers in the first quarter of the 'Niners game against the Carolina Panthers. First it was left tackle Joe Staley, who was replaced by Adam Snyder. Then his fellow offensive lineman Chilo Rachal also left the field with a stinger and Synder replaced him at right guard when Staley returned to the field after his own stinger. Rookie free safety Taylor Mays had a stinger of his own during the first quarter. Reggie Smith filled in for Mays.
