San Francisco 49ers starting tight end Vernon Davis is doubtful to return to today's 49ers match up against the Denver Broncos. Davis was knocked out of the game after he aggravated an already bad ankle injury. Prior to the injury Davis had only caught one ball for twelve yards and hadn't made a huge impact on the game for the 49ers.
Vernon Davis Knocked Out Of Game, Felix Jones And Brian Orakpo Give Fans A Scare And Other Injury News
Brian Orakpo appeared to injury his already injured left ankle even more and back up Chris Wilson came on for the remainder of the series However, Orakpo returned the next Washington Redskins defensive series. Orakpo was seen wearing a walking boot prior to the start of the game and there was worry about whether or not the injury would force him out of the game.
Dallas Cowboys running back Felix Jones briefly left the Cowboys and Jacksonville Jaguars game with an arm injury, but returned before the end of the first half. Jones had his forearm wrapped up and reappeared just before the second quarter expired. It appears that his X-Rays came back clean.
The Green Bay Packers got even thinner at cornerback when back up cornerback Patrick Lee left today's game against the New York Jets with an ankle injury. No news has been released about his status so far but Lee was taken to the locker room for X-Rays.
