Week 7 Fantasy Hero Kenny Britt Leaves Game With Hamstring Injury, Will Not Return

Week 7 of the NFL season was certainly a career day for Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt but Week 8 has not been as nice of a week for Britt. Coming off of a 7 catch, 225 yard and 3 receiving touchdowns week, Britt has 0 catches and 0 points and it will remain that way. Britt was forced off the field after attempting to haul in a long toss to him down the field, his attempt resulting in him remaining on the field clearly in pain. According to SI’s Jim Trotter, Britt suffered an injury to his right hamstring and is unlikely to return to the game.

Britt typically would be replaced with Justin Gage, whom Britt overtook on the Titans depth chart, but Gage is inactive for today’s game. Titans head coach Jeff Fisher favored rookie wide receiver Damian Williams over Gage, leaving Williams as the likely new number two wide receiver versus the San Diego Chargers.
