NFL analysts said QB Mark Sanchez was due for a ’sophomore slump.
Fantasy Football, Week 10: Mark Sanchez With Another Stellar Performance On The Road In Cleveland
Apparently, he didn’t get the memo. Last week against the Lions, the young quarterback had a phenomenal fourth quarter and overtime period en route to a 23-20 win in overtime against the Detroit Lions.
This week, he lead his team to victory yet again, completing 27 off 44 passes for 299 yards and two touchdowns. His fantasy owners were very happy.
Sanchez did a great job of evading the Cleveland rush and keeping the play alive. While he was sacked twice, there were three separate times that the Browns had him in his grasp, and he escaped and found receivers for completions.
The young quarterback showed a lot of poise and his decision making was much improved from that of previous games this year. When receivers were open he got the ball to them, when Browns dropped into coverage and nothing was there, he threw it away.
Great game for Sanchez as he lead his team to victory in thrilling fashion, 26-20.
