Joel Dreessen, Marcedes Lewis, Michael Hoomanawanui Lead Today’s Fantasy Tight Ends

Houston Texans TE Joel Dreessen is today’s top-scoring tight end, grabbing four passes for 106 yards. His 43-yard catch in the fourth was one of the Texans’ four fourth-quarter scores agains the New York Jets. This is his biggest game ever by 25 yards, and his first game over 80 yards since last season. But he has multiple catches in three straight games, so there’s that.

TE Marcedes Lewis of the Jacksonville Jaguars has been hot lately, with multiple touchdowns in two of his last six games and eight scores overall. He added one today on a 66-yard, five-catch day.

St. Louis Rams TE Michael Hoomanawanui is your surprise big-name of the day, and not just [name length joke]. Hoomanawanui put up 42 yards and a touchdown against the Atlanta Falcons. He’s played six career games, but his yardage total has increased in just about every game he’s played. Keep an eye on this guy, especially with QB Sam Bradford playing better every week too.
