NFL Week 9 Fantasy Football Updates: Drew Brees Throws Second Touchdown Pass Of The Day

Saints quarterback Drew Brees is enjoying the benefit of facing the Carolina Panthers, and his fantasy owners are too. His statistics have manifested this, as he has completed 14 of 22 passes for 113 yards.

He has also thrown two touchdown passes, as well as one interception. Let’s just say Brees is doing a lot better than his counterpart. QB Matt Moore has completed three of six passes for only 13 yards.

Wide receiver Marques Colston has four catches for 38 yards.

Saints currently have 214 total yards, while Panthers have just 96. Saints also have more first downs, with 12 to Carolina’s 7.

We expect a lot more of this, as Saints should look to use their prolific passing attack to control the tempo of the game and force the Panthers to play “catch-up,” something they are not suited to play.
