Fantasy Football News And Updates, Week 16: Matt Cassel And Jamaal Charles Combine For Two Touchdowns In First Quarter

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Matt Cassel and starting running back Jamaal Charles have combined for two touchdowns, both of which came in the first quarter, against the Tennessee Titans.

The first touchdown came with 11:19 left in the first quarter, a connection between Cassel and Charles led to a 14-yard touchdown reception by Charles. It was followed up by a 5-yard connection between the two with 1:52 left in the first quarter. Cassel is 12 for 15 for 138 yards and two touchdowns and two runs for 16 yards. Charles has three rushes for 27 yards and three receptions for 27 yards and two touchdowns.

Currently the Chiefs lead the Titans 17-0 in the second quarter. Other notable fantasy numbers from the game:

Titans running back Chris Johnson has only 11 yards on 6 carries. Wide receiver Kenny Britt has one catch for 12 yards and quarterback Kerry Collins has thrown the ball 11 times but completed only four of those passes for 49 yards. Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe has 51 yards on four catches.
