Fred Jackson Fantasy: Bills RB With Another Monster Game

Fred Jackson just continues to churn out impressive fantasy performances. The Buffalo Bills running back turned in another one on Sunday, rushing for 121 yards and a touchdown, while adding 47 yards on five catches. He even threw in a 80-yard touchdown run for those of you in bonus leagues.

It continued what has been a monster thus far in 2011, both in fantasy and real-life. In points-per-reception leagues, he’s been especially dominant as his role as Ryan Fitzpatrick’s favorite checkdown option and a featured screen returner has opened up opportunities to gain massive chunks of yardage.

He's parlayed those opportunities to 480 rushing yards, 232 receiving yards and five total touchdowns, making him a matchup-proof RB1 in the early going. Yahoo!'s guys ranked him as the fifth-best running back for the Bills' Week 6 tilt against the Giants, who were giving up the 11th-most rushing yards and third-most rushing touchdowns in the league before Sunday's game.
