Aaron Hernandez Fantasy Update: Hernandez Leads New England With Six Catches

With about eight minutes left to play in the fourth quarter, Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez leads his team with six receptions. However, he has just 44 yards to go with those six catches and no touchdowns. The Patriots are tied with the Dallas Cowboys.

Hernandez is averaging 73.7 receiving yards per game this season with 221 yards and two touchdowns through the first five weeks of the 2011 NFL season. He missed weeks three and four, but caught five balls for 56 yards in his return last Sunday against the New York Jets.

Despite missing time, Hernandez is among the top choices for fantasy tight ends. Yahoo! Sports had him ranked as the fifth best tight end for Week 6 facing the Cowboys middle-of-the-pack pass defense.
