Ray Rice Fantasy Update: Little Room To Run For Rice

Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice has found little room to move against the Houston Texans today. He has just 39 yards on 15 carries. His 2.6 yards per carry average is well below his season average of 4.5 yards per attempt.

Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice is averaging just over 74 yards per game. He has a total of 297 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns through the Ravens’ first four games of the season; they were on a bye in week 5. As a receiver, Rice has 16 catches, 242 yards and two touchdowns. That puts him on pace for more than 950 receiving yards this season.

Rice is one of the top running backs in fantasy football. SB Nation’s Fake Teams ranked him as the fourth best running back for week 6, and Yahoo! Sports had him ranked second.
