Evan Moore Fantasy Update: Browns Tight End Struggled With Stats On Sunday

Evan Moore looked like he might have a large role in the Cleveland Browns passing attack after two solid games to start the season. Colt McCoy threw to his other tight end (Ben Watson) against the Oakland Raiders, however, leaving Moore to make little fantasy impact.

Moore had two receptions for 12 yards as his quarterback threw 45 passes, but McCoy completed just 21 of his attempts -- to eight different receivers. If anyone was counting on Moore’s statistics, it’s probably time to look at around the waiver wire this week as McCoy isn’t consistently completing enough passes to the third-year pro.

Moore was averaging 21 receiving yards a game with 85 receiving yards on the season and two touchdowns through his first five weeks of the 2011 NFL season. Moore’s receiving yards per game is down nearly 5 yards per game.

Moore was not ranked by Yahoo! heading into Week 6 taking on the Oakland Raiders who rank 29th against the pass.
