Mark Ingram led the New Orleans Saints' three-headed running attack with just 22 yards. However, he did punch the ball into the end zone to close the scoring gap against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (only to see it reopened later). Ingram caught one pass for six yards.
Mark Ingram Fantasy Update: Saints RB Leads New Orleans With 22 Rushing Yards
Ingram had just 216 yards on 62 carries entering Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, never going over 55 yards per contest. Over the last few weeks, the team had tried to involve him more in the passing game, but nothing of real fantasy value has come of it yet. But a turn against the Bucs’ defense was expected to open things up for him.
Ingram was ranked the No. 25 running back in Yahoo!'s Week 6 fantasy rankings, nine spots behind teammate Darren Sproles, who offers a more varied role.
