Peyton Hillis Fantasy Update: Hamstring Tweak Leaves Hillis Out For Majority Of Game

Peyton Hillis didn’t help the Cleveland Browns or fantasy football owners on Sunday. After a couple of carries in the first quarter, Hillis left the game with a hamstring tweak. The Browns put him back in the game for a few runs during the fourth quarter. He finished the game with six carries for 14 yards.

Strep throat, contracts ... Cleveland Browns running back Peyton Hillis has had plenty of distractions this season. Prior to week 6, he had just three starts. He averaged 65.7 yards in those games. Hillis has a total of 197 rushing yards on 54 carries to go with two touchdowns. He also has 15 receptions and 76 receiving yards.

Cleveland’s opponent, Oakland, was allowing an average of 122 rushing yards per game prior to today’s game. Hillis was ranked 16th by Fake Teams in their week 6 running back rankings.
