Olsen was averaging 47 receiving yards a game with 282 receiving yards on the season and 3 touchdowns through his first six games of the 2011 NFL season. Olsen’s yards per game is up nearly 20 yards per game from last year.
Olsen was ranked by Yahoo! as the 10th ranked tight end heading into Week 7 taking on the Washington Redskins who rank 9th against the pass.
