Fantasy Football Week 8 Running Back Projections: Ray Rice Looks To Rebound

Yesterday, we turned the computer loose on fantasy football projections for Week 8. Now, we let the fantasy gurus have their say. SB Nation partner, playthisguy.com, has surveyed 15 sources of fantasy football advice and compiled a Top 10 list of fantasy projections for the running back position.

Arian Foster is king this week, but once again, like the computer, the experts are high on LeSean McCoy against the Cowboys top-rated run defense that has only given up two touchdowns all year on the ground. McCoy can help himself in the passing game, so it's a tough call. Ray Rice looks to rebound from last week's debacle against Arizona. The new kid on the block, DeMarco Murray, checks in at eighth in the rankings against a suspect Eagles defense. Darren Sproles looks to replicate Murray's performance of last week against the Rams when New Orleans and St. Louis play this week.

Week 8 Consensus Rankings

1. Arian Foster (HOU vs. JAX)
2. LeSean McCoy (PHI vs. DAL)
3. Ray Rice (BAL vs. ARI)
4. Fred Jackson (BUF vs. WAS)
5. Adrian Peterson (MIN @ CAR)
6. Ryan Mathews (SD @ KC)
7. Frank Gore (SF @ CLE)
8. DeMarco Murray (DAL @ PHI)
9. Ahmad Bradshaw (NYG vs. MIA)
10. Darren Sproles (NO @ STL)
