Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson rushed for more than 100 yards for the third consecutive game. Jackson ran for 120 yards on 26 carries in a lopsided win over the Washington Redskins this week. Despite not scoring a touchdown, Jackson made his fantasy owners happy by adding 74 receiving yards today.
Fred Jackson Fantasy: Bills RB Top 170 Yards From Scrimmage
Jackson has been among the best fantasy backs in the NFL in most formats, not bad for a guy that was overlooked until after the first round in most leagues. He has now had a rushing touchdown in five straight games, and at least five receptions in his last four, making him a great option in PPR leagues as well.
With nasty weather coming in Buffalo, Jackson should receive even more emphasis within the Bills' offense. Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick has been gradually de-emphasized throughout the season anyway. He hasn't thrown more than 34 times in a game since Week 3 coming off a hot start to the season, giving Jackson even more touches.
