Beanie Wells Injury Update: Limited Wednesday But Expected To Be Play Sunday

Arizona Cardinals running back Beanie Wells made an appearance on the team's practice participation report on Wednesday as he was limited in practice. Wells made it through last Sunday's game against the Giants without any further injury issues and given his domination on the ground, his limitation this week is likely just precautionary.

Wells is coming off a game in which he rushed for 138 yards and three touchdowns, marking far and away the best performance of his three year career. There have been some question marks as to whether he could shoulder the whole load when they traded away Tim Hightower, but he has looked solid. He missed one game with a hamstring issue but has otherwise been fine.

Wells is averaging 5.4 yards per rush this season and there’s nothing to indicate it will stop soon. He is officially a must-start every week as long as he is healthy. If he has any setbacks this week we’ll let you now.
