New York Giants running back Brandon Jacobs sat out his third straight practice on Friday and at this point it is highly doubtful that he'll play on Sunday. I suspect the Giants will say he is a game-time decision, but don't expect him in the lineup. Adam Schefter has reported Jacobs' injury is an MCL sprain. While that is not as big a deal as any sort tear, it can often result in missing games. It looks like such will be the case with Jacobs.
Brandon Jacobs Injury Update: Giants RB Sits Out Friday Practice
Jacobs absence means Ahmad Bradshaw will end up with a sizable load of carries and Danny Ware will likely operate as his backup. Bradshaw has not rushed more than 15 times this season. He had five games of 20+ carries last season so he can handle such a load. Ware has only had three carries in one game this year, so while he might get some work, it will not be a whole lot. If you've got Bradshaw, this could be a breakout week for him.
