Mike Williams Status Update: Seahawks Receiver Out With Concussion

The Seattle Seahawks will be without wide receiver Mike Williams (commonly referred to as "Big Mike") this weekend. Williams suffered a concussion and has set out practice all week long. In order to play this weekend against the New York Giants, Williams would have had to have been cleared by the medical staff. He sat out all week of practice. so he will not play.

Ben Obomanu is expected to start in his place with Doug Baldwin remaining in the slot. If you're a Sidney Rice owner, he's still the clear cut number one receiver but will likely face double teams and be the focus of the Giants defense. If you had Mike Williams, you may consider dropping him. He's having a dismal season and is on pace for only about 400 yards receiving.
