New York Giants running back Brandon Jacobs was held out of practice again on Friday and is listed as doubtful on the injury report. Jacobs is dealing with a knee injury that multiple people have listed as a mild MCL sprain. Tom Coughlin likes to play with the "competitive advantage" of the injury report and will list Jacobs as a game time decision, but Jacobs will not be active when the Giants take on the Seattle Seahawks.
Brandon Jacobs Status Update: Giants Back Doubtful With Knee
The other Giants running back, Ahmad Bradshaw, will get the lion's share of the workload at running back on Sunday. Back up D.J. Ware will get the snaps if Bradshaw needs a breather, but expect Bradshaw to get the bulk of the carries. While Jacobs will not play this weekend, if his injury is in fact an MCL sprain, it could linger.
