Beanie Wells Status Update: Expected To Play With Hamstring Injury
Arizona Cardinals running back Beanie Well is expected to play this weekend against the Minnesota Vikings. Wells is coming off a monster game last week where he ran for 138 yards and 3 rushing touchdowns on 27 carries. He was limited in practice all week, but the belief is that it was just a precautionary measure. Officially, Wells is listed as questionable for the game.
Wells is off to a nice rebound season, averaging just over 5 yards per carry and has 5 rushing touchdowns in just 3 games. If you have Wells in your line up, make sure he is active before setting it and walking away. He is expected to play, but hamstrings are tricky. You should be safe to play him, as most believe he was held out of practice by the staff rather than because of his injury.
