Vincent Jackson Status Update: Expected To Start With Hamstring Injury

San Diego Chargers wide receiver Vincent Jackson is expected to play with a hamstring injury. Jackson practiced in full on Friday and is expected to start against the Denver Broncos. Jackson played only 22 snaps last week, but Chargers head coach Norv Turner told the media he expected Jackson to play at least that against the Broncos.

Even though Jackson is likely going to be matched up with Champ Bailey all day, it's virtually impossible to sit Jackson if he's going to play. Even with limited snaps last week against the Miami Dolphins, Jackson had 3 catches for 103 yards and a touchdown. With tight end Antonio Gates likely out again, Jackson will be quarterback Philip Rivers primary target as usual. Jackson should have another good showing against a struggling Broncos pass defense.
