A.J. Green Injury Update: Bengals WR Wants To Play, But Team Will Make Game Time Decision

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green wants to play through his knee injury, but team doctors will make the final call about whether or not he plays against the Baltimore Ravens Sunday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Green injured his knee in last week's loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Green actually injured himself while coming down with a touchdown pass and hyperextended his knee in the process. After last week's game, Green did not think that the injury was too serious, but he did not practice this week and was listed as doubtful on the Bengal's official injury report.

Green has 33 receptions for 516 yards and five touchdowns for Cincinnati this season. If the doctors decide to let him play, it can only help the Bengals against the Ravens. Both Cincinnati and Baltimore are 6-3 and a win will put one of them in control of the tight AFC North division.
