A.J. Green Expected To Start Vs. Browns

Cincinnati Bengals first-round wide receiver A.J. Green practiced fully on Thursday and Friday and is expected to start against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.

Green missed last week's 31-24 loss to the Baltimore Ravens after hyper-extending his right knee while hauling in a 36-yard touchdown pass in a Week 10 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The injury kept Green limited on Wednesday, but the former University of Georgia standout is on target to start Sunday's rematch with the Browns. Green's 41-yard touchdown reception was not only his first NFL reception, but were the deciding points in the Bengals' 27-17 win.

Green has a team-high 41 receptions and leads all rookie receivers with 635 receiving yards and six receiving touchdowns. Green expects to match up with Browns cornerback Joe Haden.

I think he’s just a good cover guy,” Green said of Haden according to the Cincinnati Enquirer. “He really doesn’t come up there and try to challenge you that much but you have to run precise routes because he’s going to be on you in and out of your breaks so you have to run good routes.”
