Andre Johnson Expected To Return From Hamstring Injury

Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson was able to practice fully throughout last week's practices and is expected to make his return to the starting lineup against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

Johnson has been out since injuring his right hamstring in a Week 4 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.Texans head coach Gary Kubiak expects to limit Johnson's snaps on Sunday.

We’ll probably put a play count on him,” Kubiak said on Thursday according to the Houston Chronicle. “He won’t go out there and play 60, 70 plays. But he’s ready to go.

The perennial Pro Bowler was on pace for a trip to Honolulu, catching 25 passes for 352 yards and two touchdowns in the 14 quarters prior to his injury. Seven weeks later, Johnson returns to find his quarterback Matt Schaub is out for the season with a broken foot, with former Arizona Cardinals first-round pick Matt Leinart slated to start for the final six games of the regular season.
