Darren Sproles was his usual sneaky self in New Orleans' 49-24 win Monday, racking up yards without dominating touches. He totaled 82 yards from scrimmage (eight carries for 54 yards, two catches for 28 yards). And for the rare fantasy league that rewards return yardage, he didn't disappoint there, either, returning two kicks for 62 yards. It was a nice bounce-back performance from Week 10, when he was held to just three yards from scrimmage.
Darren Sproles Fantasy Recap: Solid Outing For Saints RB
Sproles hasn't been the feature back at any point for the Saints this season, but he gets enough touches that he's usually a decent play for those without two clear-cut fantasy starters at running back. With Pierre Thomas and Mark Ingram healthy, Sproles wasn't expected to see too much action out of the backfield, though he's usually good for some return yards and quite a few catches out of the backfield on third downs.
Coming into Week 12, Sproles had a total of 1604 yards including return yardage, 796 yards not including returns. Sproles also had five total touchdowns entering the game against the Giants.
