Hakeem Nicks Injury Update: Giants WR Might Sit Sunday

New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks strained his hamstring last Sunday against the Miami Dolphins and it sounds like there is a good chance he will sit out Sunday's game against the New England Patriots. Nicks sat out Wednesday and Thursday practices and made some comments that would indicate sitting is the most likely plan of action. Nicks said his hamstring injury was something he had to be smart about. That would seemingly be code for sitting.

If he does sit he misses out on a fantastic fantasy matchup against the abysmally awful New England Patriots secondary. That opens the door for potentially even bigger days for the likes of Mario Manningham and Victor Cruz. With Ahmad Bradshaw dealing with his foot problem, it could be a banner day of passing for the Giants. If you have access to Manningham and/or Cruz, you will want them in your lineup. Even if you have both it might still be worth rolling with both of them. The Patriots secondary has been that bad.
