Daniel Thomas Questionable With Hamstring Injury

Miami Dolphins second-round running back Daniel Thomas remains hampered by a lingering hamstring injury and is listed as "Questionable" for Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Thomas, who was expected to provide an inside running presence, has 75 carries for 302 yards on the season, but has been unable to play more than two games back-to-back without his hamstring flaring up. Thomas, who missed last week's loss to the New York Giants, has not missed back-to-back games yet, providing hope that they'll have him against the Chiefs, who have the NFL's 22nd-ranked run defense.

Thomas plans on being ready to play on Sunday, Andrew Carter of the Sun-Sentinel reported on Friday.

“I feel good,” Thomas said. “I went through practice the whole week. Held up pretty well. So I’ll be ready to go Sunday.”

If Thomas is unable to play, Reggie Bush would get the bulk of the carries in the Dolphins' running game. A free agent addition this offseason, Bush had 15 carries for 103 yards against the Giants, which was just the second 100 rushing yard game of Bush's career.
