Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Sidney Rice is "Probable" with a foot injury and is expected to start against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.
Sidney Rice Status Probable, Expected To Start On Sunday
Rice landed on the team’s Thursday injury report with a foot injury, but participated fully on Friday and is good-to-go on Sunday. The team characterized his absence on Thursday more as the team giving him a veteran’s day off than a concern about his availability for this week’s game.
Signed to a five-year, $41 million contract that included $18.5 million in guaranteed money in August, Rice missed the first two weeks of the 2011 season with a shoulder injury that reports indicated will require surgery at some point. Since his return to the lineup, Rice has been the preferred target of Seahawks quarterbacks -- including his former teammate Tarvaris Jackson, who is expected to start as well on Sunday -- catching 24 passes for 366 yards and a touchdown.
