Tony Gonzalez Probable With Back Injury

Atlanta Falcons tight end Tony Gonzalez is listed as "Probable" after appearing on the team's injury report with a back injury this week.

The future Hall of Famer missed Wednesday's practice, was limited on Thursday and practiced fully on Friday, putting him on target to play against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. Gonzalez is second on the Falcons with 35 receptions for 380 yards with a team-high four touchdowns in seven games on the season.

Gonzalez has been exceptionally durable throughout his career, missing just two games over the last 15 seasons and none since being traded to the Falcons in 2009. Gonzalez was able to practice fully before the end of the week, and his absence on Wednesday can be chalked up to the team being cautious and giving the veteran a day off as the team returned from it’s bye week.
