Darrius Heyward-Bey Fantasy Update: DHB Strong In Oakland Raiders Loss

The Oakland Raiders suffered a brutal loss on Sunday as they blew a 13-point lead in the fourth quarter en route to a 28-27 loss to the Detroit Lions. Although the Raiders came up short, wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey put together the best performance of his career. He finished the game with six receptions for 155 yards and a touchdown.

The former first round pick has received a lot of criticism the last three seasons, but he has begun to emerge as a serious threat this season. He started strong but struggled after the Raiders acquired Carson Palmer. Initially Palmer was looking to Jacoby Ford and Denarius Moore. When both went down with injuries, it opened the door for DHB to emerge as the team's number one receiver. They got Moore back Sunday and are hoping to get Ford back next Sunday, but DHB looks to be locked in for now as the top receiver.
