Fantasy Football Week 13 Start ‘Em Or Sit ‘Em: Green-Ellis Could Be Money

We’re back for another bite of the start/sit apple. The first game of Week 13 has already been played but there’s plenty of more action to take place. We turned to playthisguy.com to get some consensus advice on start and sit. They surveyed 18 sources of knowledge and compiled the results into the following lists.

Start

BenJarvus Green-Ellis is a hot pick this week since the Indy defense has been giving out fantasy points to running backs like candy at Halloween. Ditto LeGarrette Blount against the porous Panthers defense. Reggie Wayne is an interesting name on the start list. If you've been holding on to him all season, this might be the time to play him. He had a big game last week and the Patriots pass defense is soft. But, Wayne gets a new quarterback in Dan Orlovsky, so that makes it a risky play.

Week 13 Start

1. BenJarvus Green-Ellis (RB) NE vs. IND
2. LeGarrette Blount (RB) TB vs. CAR
3. Reggie Wayne (WR) IND @ NE
4. Eric Decker (WR) DEN @ MIN
5. DeAngelo Williams (RB) CAR @ TB
6. Tim Tebow (QB) DEN @ MIN
7. Laurent Robinson (WR) DAL @ ARI
8. Brent Celek (TE) PHI @ SEA
9. Jonathan Stewart (RB) CAR @ TB
10. Marshawn Lynch (RB) SEA vs. PHI

Sit

Steven Jackson against the San Francisco defense is not a favorable matchup, so if you have better running back options you might consider them. Cleveland has been solid on defense against the pass making Anquan Boldin land on the sit list if you have better options.

2. Santana Moss (WR) WAS vs. NYJ
3. Anquan Boldin (WR) BAL @ CLE
4. Peyton Hillis (RB) CLE vs. BAL
5. Carson Palmer (QB) OAK @ MIA
6. Cedric Benson (RB) CIN @ PIT
7. Matt Ryan (QB) ATL @ HOU
8. Santonio Holmes (WR) NYJ @ WAS
