Marcedes Lewis Injury Update: Tight End Listed As Doubtful, Other Zach Miller Expected To Start

The Jacksonville Jaguars have listed tight end Marcedes Lewis as doubtful for Sunday's game against the New York Jets, which means he has no more than a 25% chance of playing in the game. The Jaguars have limited fantasy options but Lewis was looking to be one of the better ones for Luke McCown. Instead he's likely sitting out the week to rest up his calf strain.

In his place, the Jaguars are likely going to start Zach Miller. We will refer to him as the other Zach Miller as Seattle Seahawks tight end Zach Miller is generally viewed as the much better fantasy option. So if you see Miller available on the waiver wire, double check the team. I suppose you could go with the Jaguars version of Miller as he has shown an ability to catch the ball. However, there are likely better options out there if you find yourself in the market for a tight end this week in place of Lewis.
