Fantasy Football Week 3 Tight End Projections: Tony Gonzalez Still Producing
In the previous update we gave you the “collective wisdom of crowds” approach to projecting running backs, now we’ll use the statistical approach. Our partner, numberFire.com, fired up their super computer and used mathematical wizardry to create fantasy projections for Week 3. Some players listed are under injury watch, you can keep up with the status of injuries and general fantasy news here and here.
It’s still Antonio Gates at the top, whether it’s human predictions or the computer. Dustin Keller of the Jets has had a great start to the season and projects as the sixth-ranked tight end this week in the Jets battle with Oakland. Tony Gonzalez was excellent last week in the Falcons win over the Eagles, this week he’s a good play as Atlanta takes on the Bucs.
