Tiger Woods Lagging, Phil Mickelson, Bubba Watson Leading Farmers Insurance Open

Phil Mickelson remains tied for the lead in the final round of the Farmers Insurance Open at 12-under, though he’s been joined by Bubba Watson after a slip by Bill Haas. Tiger Woods fell to a tie for 33rd by shooting a pair of bogeys on his front nine. Woods is 3-under with five holes to go at Torrey Pines.

Mickelson followed a bogey on hole three with a birdie on hole four, while Watson has shot four pars plus a birdie on hole three.

Haas stumbled on holes one and four, bogeying each.

The tournament looks like it will shape up as a showdown between Mickelson and Watson. The elder Mickelson has been consistent throughout the event, while Watson has been streaky, bouncing from 71 strokes to 65 in rounds one and two.
