WGC HSBC Champions 2011: Fredrik Jacobson Tops Leaderboard After Second Round

Fredrik Jacobson has a one-stroke lead heading into the third round of the World Golf Championships’ HSBC Champions tournament at Sheshan International Golf Club in Shanghai, China.

Jacobson has been consistent, shooting a 67 in the first round and a 66 in the second. Jacobson has avoided mistakes through the first two days of the tournament and sprinkled in enough birdies -- six on Thursday -- to position himself ahead of the pack.

Louis Oosthuizen, Adam Scott and Keegan Bradley are all chasing Jacobson. Oosthuizen and Scott are one shot behind Jacobson. First-round leader and PGA Championship winner Keegan Bradley is two strokes off the lead despite shooting the highest round of anyone in the Top 10 on Thursday.

Last year’s winner, Italy’s Franceso Molinari, is four-under par, putting him seven strokes off the lead.
