The second round of Accenture Match Play 2011 tees off on Thursday at 9:20 a.m. MT (11:20 ET) with the pairing of Graeme McDowell and Ross Fisher. (Complete tee times are below.) Amongst those suffering unfavorable results in round 1 was Tiger Woods, who was the only No. 1 seed to fall on Wednesday. It was the first time Woods had lost in the opening round of an Accenture Match Play tournament. No. 16 Thomas Bjorn pulled off the upset on the 19th hole, and moves on to face Geoff Ogilvy on Thursday.
Other upsets in the first round included K.J. Choi knocking out Retief Goosen, Matteo Manassero beating No. 2 Steve Stricker, Stewart Cink topping Ian Poulter, Mark Wilson beating fellow American Dustin Johnson, and Ryan Palmer besting Jim Furyk.
