Joe Durant’s name appears at the top of the 2011 Zurich Classic leaderboard, as the American finished his first round in Avondale, Louisiana with a 5-under score. Also 5-under are Carl Pettersson and Vaughn Taylor, both of whom have completed 11 holes thus far.

Tied for fourth place are Matt Bettencourt, Webb Simpson and Bubba Watson, with the latter just starting his back nine and the former two finished for the day.
There’s a pileup at 3-under, as Graeme McDowell and seven others are tied for seventh place. Defending champion Jason Bohn sits at 1-under through 11 holes, and Heritage near-misser Luke Donald resides at 2-under after 11. Several of these players who’ve gone through 11 started on the back nine, in case you’re worried about a dangerous logjam of players waiting out a Kevin Na situation.
