British Open 2011 Live: How To Watch The Open Championship Online

The star-studded field of the 2011 British Open tees off at 1:30 a.m. ET bright and early early Thursday morning. Luckily, for those who will be unable to view the television broadcast, there are still myriad ways to ensure that you can catch all the action live and online.

The Open Championship’s official website will provide a live-stream channel that will cover the entire event. The channel will also be streamed live on Facebook and LiveStream.com. For mobile users, The Open’s iPhone and Android apps will provide additional coverage. Lastly, for European viewers, BBC Sport will stream a live broadcast of the famed tournament.

The first group set to tee off is a threesome that includes Jerry Kelly, Nathan Green, and Danny Willett. The featured pairing of 2002 British Open champion Ernie Els, 2011 U.S. Champion Rory McIlroy, and 2010 PGA Rookie of the Year Rickie Fowler tees off at 4:09 ET.
