2012 World Challenge: TV schedule, tee times, pairings for Saturday

Graeme McDowell is three shots clear of the field at the World Challenge, but Tiger Woods is still well within striking distance as the tournament moves to the weekend.

The third round of the World Challenge tees off Saturday with Graeme McDowell in the lead at Sherwood. The Northern Irishman fired a second-round 66 to jump in front by three shots, with a trio of stars tied at 6-under behind him. McDowell has already proven he can win this limited but loaded field event, staring down Tiger Woods here two years ago to walk away with on of the marquee offseason trophies. He’ll be paired with Bo Van Pelt, a steady Oklahoman who’s had an impressive fall series.

The host Woods is four shots back of McDowell at 5-under, and he’ll play alongside Rickie Fowler -- the popular Californian who had an up-and-down season. Fowler went in the tank when paired with Woods at Memorial, but this will be far under less intense circumstances. They tee off at 10:36 a.m. PT, with a gettable course in front of them and a charge at McDowell certainly possible.

NBC will have the coverage over the weekend, with the Saturday broadcast running from 3 to 6 p.m ET. Here’s a complete list of third round tee times, with all times local PT:
