Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Tony Romo Grouped Together At Pebble Beach

If Tiger Woods being in contention and a lack of sports action doesn’t give you enough incentive to watch the Pebble Beach Pro-Am on Sunday, perhaps Tiger’s partner will. Woods will be playing with Phil Mickelson, who like him, is a bit off the pace but still in the hunt on Sunday. Tiger will enter the day at 11-under par, while Mickelson enters at nine-under.

Both are chasing leader Charlie Wi, who is currently at 15-under. Alone in second place is Ken Duke, who currently has a score of 12-under. Both their group and the group containing Mickelson and Woods will tee off from the first tee at Pebble Beach on Sunday.

Woods is playing with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo in the Pro-Am tournament, while Mickelson is partnered with investment banker Hugh “Skip” McGee III. Neither pairing is in contention for the win in that section of the tournament, where Padraig Harrington and Irish businessman J.P. McManus have a three-stroke lead.
