Move over, Tim Tebow. The newest member of the New York Jets (whom Yankees fans booed unmercifully when he showed up at the stadium Sunday night) may believe he and The Masters champ Bubba Watson are BFFs, but it sounds as if Bubba’s got a thing for The Biebz.

“Justin Bieber is the only person I talked to on the phone that night after I won,” Watson, 33, told E! News Friday, on the eve of Tebow’s annual charity golf gig at TPC Sawgrass. “He called me and I talked to him on the phone and he and Selena [Gomez, Bieber’s girlfriend] were congratulating me, and it was a big honor that they would both call me and talk to me.”
Watson sure sounded sincere, and his eyes lit up when he recalled a special day on the links with the teen heartthrob. “I played [golf] with The Biebz,” Watson said, excitedly.
As for the young pop singer’s skills with a driver? “Man, he can sing and dance,” one-quarter of the Golf Boys boy band said diplomatically of his 18-year-old buddy, with whom Watson has been friendly for some time,
As for the Masters champ, as busy as Bubba’s been making the scene since his win for the ages at Augusta a week ago -- what with the Letterman show, ESPN and Saturday’s stint at the Tim Tebow Foundation Celebrity Golf Classic at TPC Sawgrass among the stops on his whirlwind tour of the world -- it’s almost as if he were trying to avoid diaper duty.
“I haven’t changed a diaper yet, so probably going to have to change a diaper pretty soon,” Watson said after his win at Augusta on April 8. He and his wife Angie recently adopted a baby boy, Caleb. “I don’t want to change a diaper.”
We won’t mention that Bubba’s pal, Bieber (whose stunt double is the star of a new fake Justin Bieber anti-bullying PSA that’s going viral) is not that far removed from the changing table himself. Oops. Too late.
