Masters 2012: Tiger Woods Birdies Third Hole, 1-Under So Far

It’s been a scrambling start for Tiger Woods at The Masters, but he’ll be happy with his score. Through his first three holes, he’s 1-under par. It hasn’t been easy for Woods in the early going, but he’s managed two pars and a birdie to get his day off to an excellent start.

On both of his first two tee shots, Woods pulled his drive to the left. He made a good shot on the first from the pine straw to set up a par, but had to scramble for his par on the second hole after hitting the ball into the hazard. Things went quite a bit more smoothly for Tiger on the third, where he made his birdie to go to 1-under on the day. He’s two strokes behind the current leader, Henrik Stenson, who is 3-under through five holes.
