In Thursday’s opening round at the 2012 Masters in Augusta, Henrik Stenson is setting the pace early.

Stenson eagled on holes two and eight, while also picking up birdies on holes five, 10 and 15. His lone black mark came on hole 14, with a bogey on a par-4. He remains three strokes ahead of Paul Lawrie, who finished his opening round at 3-under.

First-time Masters invitee Keegan Bradley is performing quite well in only his second major championship. Through 14 holes, Bradley is tied for third place with Tiger Woods and four other golfers at 2-under.

One of the favorites to win is Rory McIlroy, who got off to an inauspicious start with a double-bogey on his very first hole of the tournament. He recovered with a birdie on hole two and is 1-over through three.
