FedEx Cup Standings 2012: Matt Kuchar Jumps Into Top 10 Following Players Win

Following his victory at The Players Championship on Sunday, Matt Kuchar has jumped into the top 10 of the FedEx Cup standings.

Earning 600 points with the win, Kuchar moved up 22 slots to sixth place, sitting just 13 points behind Carl Pettersson.

The top-five spots in the standings were unchanged this week.

Despite missing the cut at The Players Championship, Hunter Mahan continues to hold a slim lead over Bubba Watson for first place. The Masters winner was idle this weekend.

Rickie Fowler, who won last week’s Wells Fargo Championship and finished tied for second this weekend, has now moved into eighth place overall after entering the month of May in 70th place.

Tiger Woods moved down two spots to number 15 after his tied for 40th place finish at The Players.
