Relevance on the PGA Tour has been good to Jason Dufner, as his victory in the Byron Nelson on Sunday moved him to third place on the Tour’s money list for the 2012 season.
PGA Money List 2012: Jason Dufner Moves Into Third Place
With two victories in 2012, Dufner has already won $3.1 million dollars this season. He’s currently behind Bubba Watson ($3.2 million) and Hunter Mahan ($3.1 million), whose less than $200 ahead of Dufner.
Dicky Pride, who finished second on Sunday, had himself quite a profitable weekend as well. His second-place finish allowed him to crack the nine-figure mark, as he is now No. 38 on the 2012 money list at $1.01 million.
And while golf would obviously love to have Tiger Woods once again winning major championships, the sport is apparently not doing too bad in 2012, as 38 golfers have netted more than $1 million in winnings this season by mid-May.
