The Saturday round of the 2012 AT&T National won’t be teeing off until at least 1 p.m. ET, and whenever it does, there won’t be any fans there to witness it. Officials at the Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland have decided to shut down the event to the public.

According to the official tournament’s Twitter feed, volunteers will also be shut out of the event, meaning just players and caddies will be walking the course on Saturday.
Hunter Mahan is on top of the leaderboard at 7-under, as the tournament continues without spectators to watch the golfers play the course.
