Tiger Woods Drains Impressive Birdie Putt On 15 At AT&T National

Tiger Woods and Bo Van Pelt are still going it at, hanging with each other on the back nine at Congressional. The 15th hole was full of fireworks, with Tiger facing a long putt for birdie and Van Pelt facing a shorter putt on a similar line. Both were tricky, downhill sliders, and Tiger needed to play for a significant amount of break.

No problem at all.

With the pressure on, Van Pelt stepped up and calmly knocked his putt into the heart of the cup, matching Tiger’s birdie. Both are at 9-under for the tournament now, four strokes clear of the field with three holes to play.

Tiger is in a bit of trouble on the 16th, though, after pulling his drive into the gallery on the par-5. Van Pelt striped his drive, knocking it long and down the middle.
