While the 2012 British Open was capturing the golf world’s attention over the weekend, there was another PGA tournament being held at the Annandale Golf Club in Madison, Miss. The 2012 True South Classic ended up being significantly more low-scoring an affair than did the Open Championship, with Scott Stalling eventually prevailing to take home the $540,000 winner’s purse.

Stallings finished Sunday’s final round with a cumulative score of 24-under after shooting 4-under for the day with five birdies. Also with five birdies on Sunday was Jason Bohn, who did not go over par on a single hole in his final round, but was never quite able to catch Stallings. Bohn finished two strokes behind, at 22-under.

Returning champion Chris Kirk shot 3-under in his final round and wound up in a tie for 10th place, at 15-under.
