While the 2012 British Open was capturing the golf world’s attention over the weekend, there was another PGA tournament being held at the Annandale Golf Club in Madison, Miss. The 2012 True South Classic ended up being significantly more low-scoring an affair than did the Open Championship, with Scott Stalling eventually prevailing to take home the $540,000 winner’s purse.
